After a welcome address by Bastian Schneider, Chief Strategist at the Brand Leadership Circle, futurologist Nicklas Bergman spoke about the top 10 technologies to watch. He gave insights into the handling of new technologies from a business perspective: "We have to deal with new technologies without having the claim to understand everything. Be curious. Read about it. Understand the timing and impact on our environment/business. Can we challenge existing players with the new technology or are we being challenged by yet unknown companies? Can we open up a new business field? Will technology change industry logic or create a new need? Once we understand that, we have to adapt to the new reality. We must take responsibility for the use of new technology! As businessmen as well as society as a whole."

Jérôme Koller, Head of Data & Analytics at Mobiliar, then spoke about how he had established the use of data in the insurance company's marketing and sales, addressing the challenges he faced. True to the motto "Think big, start small, grow fast," he proceeded iteratively. After all, he said, it was a long change process in which it proved essential that relevant business cases were tackled and the right people "bundled."
