Greenpeace is an independent, international environmental organization. Since 1971, they have been committed to an ecologically and socially just present and future in 55 countries. The current economic and political situation challenges Greenpeace on several levels. One of these is the high exit rate of supporters coupled with the decrease in growth of the core sponsor group. gateB is supporting Greenpeace in reducing their exit rate using data-driven guidance and next best activity recommendations. Affinity analysis helps Greenpeace address the right circle of people with regard to various subjects (e.g. nuclear technology, oceans) and methods of sponsorship (e.g. monetary, or as activists). In this way, individuals are specifically contacted at the right time and according to their interests in order to reduce the exit rate, increase commitment, and lessen advertising costs.
